Asolid album from one of Hip Hop's most underrated talents.. Quik keeps his promise and delivers an album that is full of party songs and for the most part makes you feel good. Stand out tracks include; 'Do Whatcha Want' which features Digital Underground. It's a nice party song that borrows from an old R&B cut..You can hear the influence of guest rappers Digital Underground..Another track is 'Pitch In Ona Party Popular' which has DJ Quik signature sound about smoking a fat one. The album showcases Quik's ability to be versatile. He has old school/b-boy sounding jams like 'Quikker Said Than Done' and straight up R&B jazzy flavored grooves like 'Tha Divorce Song'. Great album for Quik.. I'm just afraid it will go unnoticed by a lot of headz who for whatever reason don't pay the proper attention that DJ Quik deserves..
