By now y'all have heard about Old Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan. Earlier this year he bum-rushed the stage during the Grammy Awards and proclaimed Wu-Tang as the greatest rap group. Then he changed his name to Big Baby Jesus. Last week he was shot in his
Brooklyn apartment. Some armed intruders came rolling through his unlocked
door and busted a cap in ODB's back..and robbed him of all his jewelry.
Fortunately, ODB was able to bring himself to the hospital where he was
treated and released. He was lucky. Most people don't get shot in the
back and walk away in one piece.. Last I heard there was no lead on the
robbers.. But the word on the street is that it was some kids from around
the way who knew where he was staying.ODB is getting ready to go on a two week solo tour. He says that he's completely changed his life around..hence the new name Big Baby Jesus.. He also noted that he wasn't able to tour consistently with Wu-Tang because he had a drinking problem..The question I have is will he stop drinkin'.. I certainly hope so if he's gonna sport a name like Big Baby Jesus..
